People change or stay the same?

IM BACK!

Thanks to a friend who also blogs!!

http://theramblingtea.blogspot.com/

It has been around 3 years since my last blog and I have so much to say..
I have since been re-married to the love of my life and have a wonderful beautiful precious son. His name is Bruce Jefferson Bond. He is now 8 months old and into EVERYTHING!

Aside from my life as a mom I am also going to college. You wouldn't know it by the incorrect traditional grammar mistakes in this blog but this is free lance writing and I don't have to.

I have changed a lot since 3 years ago. My life has taken a turn for the better. I have slacked on my writing but have picked up new adventures along the way. I have been interested in Christianity again. I do believe in GOD and I do believe things happen for a reason. Someone has a plan for my life bigger than I can imagine and I am along for the ride.

My question is do people change or stay the same over the years? It may be an easy question to answer if no thought was involved. You would say yes people change. From the outside in or the inside out. Or do people stay the same and only pretend to change for other people. We all have our quirks. Traditions and things that make us individuals. If we change and stop doing those things does that mean we are a completely different person? Do we have to remake ourselves and start over from scratch?
The same question is asked . Are people born this way or are they raised this way? The answer is in the individual. So much crime and hate and rape and slavery going on in the world and we turn our nose up to it. What could make a person so evil? Is it the environment they grew up in? The shows and movies and video games we watch. Imagine if we had none of these things. Would we still be the same? Or would society be  different. So yes I say we change but not because we want to I believe its the influence of society that changes us.

If GOD is bigger than all of this. Have we lost this much faith?  We can blame the media for what we choose to do but thats just it we chose to do it. We made the decision to do and still do what we feel is right.

The dark is coming and no light to be seen
Scary monsters creep and shadows gleam
The thought of stepping outside and losing our life
Stirs deep in our mind as we start to dream

The what-ifs and why's and how's
Linger over our shoulders till reality throws a blow
Questions answered but nothing to show

The problems we see and hear everyday
The solutions we seek can't been resolved
Waiting has become our fallback
Not a way to live at all

We turn to crime in the streets
As if that is the answer to life
We make the Majority the Minority
And fall and crumble and die.
